Junior Tournaments
Throughout the year there will be a number of competitions for all ages and abilities.
Below is a summary of events that will take place during 2010:
Mini Tennis
Club championships: held at Red, Orange and Green;
Warwickshire Mini Tennis League: club teams compete in county competition;
Matchplay: coach-organised match practice with games umpired.
Tennis
Club Championships: split into 6 categories Boys and Girls U11, U13, and U16;
Road to Wimbledon: under 14 tournament with winner progressing to county final;
AEGON county league: club teams compete in Warwickshire Leagues;
Ladder: members grouped together by standard to provide an opportunity for match play;
Slams: Friday 6pm-8pm: team tournaments for all juniors. Six slams will be held throughout season and players earn points for participating and being on winning team;
Parent and Child Tournament - date tba: fun competition for junior members and parents/carers.
